I was working along on Try Number 2 when I realized, as I was casting off, that I had cast on the wrong number of stitches. Groan. On to Try Number 3.
The visit from the Alpaca Rancher went well. She brought me samples of her fibres and I took them all. That night, I wet felted a sampler of the different coloured fibres, on a background of Corriedale. The white samples didn't show up after it was finished, unfortunately. I think Alpaca is slower to felt than sheep's wool.
