To knit or not to knit

Hi all! Long silence, yes, I know. Back to University full-time, work p/t, have been eating up my time. Plus I've barely touched the knitting needles. I did manage to felt some beads though. I went on a hike with some friends August third in Algonquin park and knitted in the car on the way there, only a garter stitch stripey scarf with mohair in it. I worked on the scarf again in Strathcona park on a sunny day. One of my courses is "Feminist Activism", and last Tuesday a knitter was seated behind me during the lecture and videos--another student.
